My name is Manon (but you can call me May, more easy for you than "Manon") I'm 18 years old, and I live in France. Wait ! Why is a french girl posting on the Irish lolita community ? Well, I posted some questions in egl about lolita shops in Ireland because I will spend my summer holiday here with my parents and the people who answered me (thank you again !) gave me the link to this community, so here I am !

They also suggest me to meet lolitas during my trip, but I actually didn't think about it before ! I don't even know if I will take lolita clothes or wear lolita during the trip. But more I think about it and more I realize that I would love to meet more lolitas, take pictures and have a good time with new people !
So here is my question : would some of you like to meet me ? I know that I will be visiting Dublin, Cork, and probably Galway from the 16 to the 30 of July but I don't know when exactly I will be in each city yet. If there is a lot of people who are ready to organize a meet up, I will probably change my mind and think about meeting you ! But I want to know before, because I don't want to take my lolita clothes for nothing (I would only wear my lolita clothes with you for the meet up, I am too affraid to damage them during the trip or visits)

I'm 15 now, even though I always think I'm 19 xD
I've been into lolita fashion for about 1-2 years probably but I've just got the money together to start buying some clothes (yay for Christmas money!) :D
I'm mostly into bittersweet and classic, I would love to try pirate and wa-loli sometime :)
I'm on a mission to get my boyfriend to dress in kodona xD
I'm thinking of starting to sew my own outfits but all my designs tend to end up absolutely impossible to make so far (bunnies cooking, wings, under the sea cinderella). some day <3
I'm a drummer in a band, I'm a bit or a nerd (I know binary, the elements song and alot about dr. who :L) and I draw alot!

Hopefully I'll start going to some meetups soon, I'd love to meet all of you! :) WARNING: I'm really shy at first, but then I'm pretty hyper...

I am so sorry I have been out of touch and I hope you all had a great time at the Japan Day and had fun being in the fashion show. I came up with a really cool idea. I would love to get a Lolita group shot in a studio, we can pretend we are having a picnic, fight over a bear etc.

I am going to contact Maik Sinkovec who took my Angel Ayanami photos to this shoot. He is a lovely photographer and we are at the moment negotiating a lolita shoot but I would love you girls to be involved. I think the photos would be great to have, we would have great fun and they would be nice photos to show off to the world.

So who would be interested?? Mako, I know you would be. :p Sarah, Farrah, Roisin?? Anyone else? By the way the photos would be free of charge. :)

Hey everyone (again)!

I'm happily in N. Ireland and to say the least it's gorgeous and I'm having an amazing time.

I apologize for the short notice, but I've decided to go to Dublin next weekend from early Friday to Sunday. Would anyone be able to accompany me, show me around? It's my second time in the city, but the first time I went I was twelve and jetlagged, so I don't remember anything. xD;

I understand you ladies are busy and can maybe only stay with me for a day, if that, which is completely fine. I do have lolita on me (I just got a new dress *A*) so I'd be happy to wear it down there for you all. x3 Thank you!

Also, does anyone know any good hostels in good locations? Nothing too expensive, I'm trying to save as much money as I can. x__x I don't want to intrude on anyone.

I thought I should post about this here as many Lolitas like Steampunk. We should get a group and go.

 I entered the Cadbury's Spots V Stripes challenge by trying to play sports in my Princess Peach costume. If I win, part of the money is going into Nom-Con's budget and the rest will go to charity.

 The film Black Swan is on release from the 21st of January, and the costume porn has me foaming at the mouth already. Ballet could vaguely count as a lolita interest, so why don't we arrange a meet to see it together? 

We could go to In Cahoots for tea first and bonus points, we'd be warm and we wouldn't have to hide our outfits under winter coats!

Hi everyone! :D I posted this to the UK comm and was told to post here too, soo...

I'm Stephanie, and I'm a resident of USA but in January I'll be attending the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland until May. I'm sooo excited, and I was just wondering if there were any lolitas nearby. I'm going to be completely alone on this endeavor, I won't have a host family or anything (not even anybody to pick me up at the airport! :o), so it would be cool to be acquainted with someone beforehand. I will probably have at least some of my lolita with me (my mom says no, but I can't live without my frills for 4 months >:T), so I'm excited to wear that at least a few times.

I'll be in Derry/Londonderry, but I know I'll be going down south a LOT to see Dublin and all the wonderful things down there so I'd love to meet some of you ladies.

Also if you just have any advice or tips or whatever, that would be cool. I only went to the UK and Ireland once when I was 12, so I don't remember too much in terms of culture or way of living. XD

I was wondering what everyone's experiences were with wearing lolita into school or college in Ireland.
I've been thinking about wearing some in at some stage since all I wear on non-uniform days are black jeans and black t-shirts and also since it's my last year in school.
Have ye all had good reactions or bad?
